He founded the law firm Gilkens & Panis with Freddy Gilkens in 1983, which has since grown into the Adlex advocaten & bemiddelaars of today. Leo Panis was also an active director at KRC (Royal Racing Club) Genk for 13 years, and the bond between Adlex advocaten & bemiddelaars and the club is still very strong.
