Jan Verlinden

Jan Verlinden (1969, Genk) has been a partner at Adlex advocaten & bemiddelaars since 1994. He mainly deals with files relating to contracting law, real estate law, civil litigation and debtor management.

In 1994, he obtained his Master’s degree in Law at the Catholic University of Leuven. In 2003, he became a partner in cvba Adlex advocaten & bemiddelaars. Since 2010, he has also been Office Manager of the firm. The latter position was taken over by Jean-Claude Van Rode as from 2012 and is held by Linda Rogiers as from June 2015.

Jan Verlinden was a member of the Council of the Order of Lawyers of Tongeren from 2002 to 2007. In 2008, he was also a member of the General Assembly of the Order of Flemish Bars. He is a member of the Rotary Maasland-Lanklaar. He was a member of the Genk City Council from 2001 to 2003. Jan Verlinden is married to Lydia Peeters, mayor of Dilsen-Stokkem since 2001, member of the Flemish Parliament since 2009 and currently Flemish Minister of Mobility and Public Works.
