Gerben Swinnen (°1994) has been a member of the Limburg Bar since September 2023 and has been affiliated with Adlex Lawyers and Mediators since September 2025.

He completed his Master of Laws degree with distinction at Hasselt University, where he undertook a specialized program in administrative law as part of the “Government and Law” curriculum. He focused on environmental law within the Belgian and European context and wrote his English-language master’s thesis on European regulations concerning renewable energy communities and their national and local implications. Earlier, he also completed with distinction the business management – legal practice program at PXL University of Applied Sciences.

In his free time, he can be found in nature, on his bicycle, or at his local tennis and padel club, where he is active not only as a player but also as a coach.
