Charlotte Cams (born in 2000 in Hasselt) has been a member of the Limburg Bar since October 2023 and is affiliated with Adlex advocaten & bemiddelaars.
In 2023, she obtained a Master’s degree in Law from KU Leuven, specialising in criminal law and public law. She wrote her master’s thesis on the use of a confidential file in special investigative methods.
Since September 2024, Charlotte has been a lecturer in law at SyntraPXL, where she teaches in the real estate consultant programme.
She was the winner of the 2024 Limburg Pleading Competition, organised by the Conference of Young Lawyers Limburg, and participated in the 2025 Flemish Pleading Competition (“Vlaams Pleitjuweel”) in Ghent.
Since February 2025, Charlotte has held the SUPRALAT – Salduz certificate, enabling her to provide high-quality legal assistance during police interrogations.
During her student years, she was active as president of the law students’ association Themis UHasselt, of which she remains a member as secretary of the Board of Directors. She also served as president of Debat Squad, an association that encourages young people to think critically, develop arguments and speeches, and speak in public. Charlotte continues to contribute to youth work each year as an instructor, training youth leaders for youth holidays. She herself was an (head) animator for ten years.
