He is a member of both the Centre for Government and Law and the Centre for Environmental Sciences. In addition, he is also affiliated with the University of Hasselt as a postdoctoral researcher. In this capacity, he conducts research within the framework of the Flemish Circular Economy Policy Research Centre.<\/p>\n<p>Jonas obtained his PhD at the University of Hassel in 2023 (title: \u201cThe Legal Transition towards a Circular Economy in the Belgian Construction Sector. Making sure the circle doesn\u2019t turn square\u201d). Between 2023 and 2024, Jonas also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Tilburg University (NL), where he studied the interaction between private and public construction law to accelerate the circular transition.
