Steven Menten

Steven Menten (1976, Hasselt) has been a lawyer and partner at Adlex advocaten & bemiddelaars since 2008. He specialises in company and contract law and has extensive experience in private construction law and public procurement.

He obtained his Law Degree at the University of Ghent and, after an Erasmus year in Valencia, immediately followed the specialist course in International and European Law at the Free University of Brussels, a course which he completed with distinction in 2001. In 2004, he specialised further in business law and obtained a Master in Business Law at the University of Antwerp. He has held a judicial mandate as administrator since 2004. In 2013, he followed the postgraduate training to become a trustee and liquidator (Catholic University of Leuven-University of Antwerp-Hasselt University). Since 2021 he has been a certified mediator in civil and commercial matters.

Steven Menten was a member of the Tongeren Bar Council for many years and was also a representative in the Order of Flemish Bars in Brussels. Today he is an honorary member of Ronde Tafel Lanaken, member of Lions Club Maasland, which is committed to social causes, and director at Volleyball club Greenyard Maaseik.
